On August 17th we held the first Teens Workshop with a group of adolescents from Pelham Residents Services. This workshop was developed as part of the project “Enhancing the Mental Health of Latin American Adolescents and their Families in Framingham”, that BRACE is running with the support of MetroWest Health Foundation.
The purpose of the workshop was to talk with the adolescents about self-esteem and motivation. The group showed to be very interested in the psychologist presentation and they were willing to participate with different ideas and opinions. Then we shared a great moment playing basketball and eating pizza.
No dia 17 de agosto, realizamos o primeiro Workshop com um grupo de adolescentes da Pelham Residents Services. Este workshop foi desenvolvido como parte do projeto “Melhorando a Saúde Mental dos Adolescentes Latino-Americanos e suas Famílias em Framingham”, que o BRACE está realizando com o apoio da MetroWest Health Foundation.
O objetivo do workshop foi conversar com os adolescentes sobre auto-estima e motivação. O grupo mostrou-se muito interessado na apresentação do psicólogo e eles estavam dispostos a participar com idéias e opiniões diferentes. Em seguida, compartilhamos um ótimo momento jogando basquete e comendo pizza.
