O evento ocorreu no dia 25 de Março de 2023, para comemorar os 11 anos de existência do Brazilian American Center (BRACE).
Por conta do grande sucesso da edição que comemorou o décimo aniversário da instituição, o BRACE com parceria da Massa Viana Immigration and Nationality Law e a ETS Equipament Rental resolveu dar continuidade ao evento e lançou sua segunda edição da Exposição de Artes e Fotografias, no qual reuniu os artistas: Elianara Raquel, Luiz Madrid, Rogelio Garcia e Sissi Rodrigues.

O BRACE (Brazilian-American Center) é uma organização sem fins lucrativos (sob seção 501(c) (3) do Internal Revenue Code), classificada como entidade filantrópica, criado em 2012, pelo Padre Volmar Scaravelli, com o objetivo de acolher, assistir e promover todos os imigrantes sem distinção de nacionalidade, raça, idade, gênero ou religião, preservando os valores e a identidade cultural de cada um.
Sobre os Artistas:
Elianara Raquel se graduou em Artes visuais na UEL (Universidade Estadual de Londrina – PR – Brasil), nascida no interior do Paraná, ela trabalha com murais artísticos, especialista em criar artes harmônicas em paredes de grande escala.
Luiz Madrid é originário de São Paulo – Brasil. Sua paixão pela arte começou em 1974 quando iniciou seus estudos no Teatro Escola Macunaíma, participando de várias produções de peças infantís, circos e danças. Em 2019 e 2020 publicou duas coleções de poemas: “Reencontro” e “Trajetorias” e nos últimos três anos estudou escrita criativa, e seu primeiro livro ilustrado infantil será publicado nesse verão (2023). Além disso, é fotógrafo e procura registrar a beleza e a importância da natureza que nos cerca em diferetes mundos.
Rogelio Garcia nasceu em Guadalajara – México. Sua paixão pela pintura vem desde os 10 anos de idade, quando aprendeu a pintar sozinho, inspirado por séries de TV, livros do autor Bob Ross, Norman Rockwell e Betty Edwards. Ele pinta por amor a arte, trabalha por conta prórpia e tem o sonho de se tornar um artista reconhecido por sua pintura versátil e seu talento artístico baseado em seus próprios instintos.
Sissi Rodrigues é de Goias – Brasil. Ela é Fotojornalista e trabalha na JSNews em Boston. “Fotografia para mim é um escape do mundo, onde apenas meus olhos podem enxergar, minha visão é única”
II Art and Photography Exhibition – 11 years BRACE
The event took place on March 25, 2023, to celebrate the 11 years of existence of the Brazilian American Center (BRACE).
Due to the great success of the edition that celebrated the tenth anniversary of the institution, BRACE, in partnership with Massa Viana Immigration and Nationality Law and ETS Equipment Rental, decided to continue the event and launched its second edition of the Arts and Photography Exhibition, in which brought together the artists: Elianara Raquel, Luiz Madrid, Rogelio Garcia and Sissi Rodrigues.

About the Artists:
Elianara Raquel graduated in Visual Arts at UEL (State University of Londrina – PR – Brazil), born in the interior of Paraná, she works with artistic murals, specializing in creating harmonic arts on large-scale walls.
Luiz Madrid is originally from São Paulo – Brazil. His passion for art began in 1974 when he began his studies at Teatro Escola Macunaíma, participating in various productions of children’s plays, circuses, and dances. In 2019 and 2020 he published two collections of poems: “Reencontro” and “Trajetorias” and in the last three years he has studied creative writing, and his first illustrated children’s book will be published this summer (2023). In addition, he is a photographer and seeks to record the beauty and importance of nature that surrounds us in different worlds.
Rogelio Garcia was born in Guadalajara – Mexico. His passion for painting comes from the age of 10, when he learned to paint by himself, inspired by TV series, books by author Bob Ross, Norman Rockwell, and Betty Edwards. He paints for the love of art, works for himself and dreams of becoming an artist recognized for his versatile painting and artistic talent based on his own instincts.
Sissi Rodrigues is from Goias – Brazil. She is a Photojournalist and works at JSNews in Boston. “Photography for me is an escape from the world, where only my eyes can see, my vision is unique.”
